Guests are the most important part of our jobs at Magic Springs. We are looking for genuinely friendly people who will ensure that our guests are treated properly and for enthusiastic people who understand and practice values such as honesty, punctuality, courtesy, reliability, neatness, and safety. A well-groomed appearance is essential to working in our park. We pride ourselves on having our team members look their best while delivering the best possible service to our guests. Our aim is to present a consistent and appealing clean-cut look to our guests. More details about our grooming standards are available upon request.

Most jobs require applicants to be at least 16 years of age. There are, however, some positions available for 14+ year olds.

Proof of Age!

All employees must produce one of the following documents to verify age: driver’s license or driver’s permit, birth certificate, or passport.

Social Security Number!

Everyone must show their original social security card.

Proof of Eligibility to Work in the U.S.!

Because of immigration laws, all employees must produce one of the following documents to prove they can legally work in this country: Social Security Card, U.S. birth certificate, U.S. passport, resident alien card, or certificate of naturalization.

Proof of Identity!

One of the following photo ID documents will prove your identity: driver’s license/permit, school ID, military ID, state issued ID, U.S. passport, resident alien card, or certificate of naturalization.

Job Opportunities

Here are just a few samples of the many types of jobs and positions that are available at Magic Springs & Crystal Falls.

Administration

With positions available in Cash Control, Human Resources, and Reception, these departments offer hands-on experience for accounting, finance majors and business majors.

Communications

Our Communications department is responsible for monitoring the radio traffic of all managers and supervisors throughout the park. This department also provides a means of communication for team members to relay messages to supervisors and managers and is a key component of our crisis management team.

Concert Stagehand

Team members need to assist the Production Manager with concert set up/operations in our Timberwood Amphitheater. Responsibilities will include assisting in loading/unloading and installation of light and sound equipment. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. This position requires late evening/early morning hours. (Saturdays only)

EMT

Our Health Services department treats guests and team members at one location at Magic Springs. Team members in this department must be a certified EMT (basic or paramedic) with current CPR card, AED card and state certification. This is a good opportunity for an EMT to get experience working with people of all ages. Team members in the Health Services department must be at least 18 years old.

Food Service

Meet the challenge of a high-intensity food service department serving thousands of guests daily. From stand-alone carts to restaurants to fast food areas and catering, teamwork is a key skill that you will learn in this area of our park's operations.

Games/Arcades

This department welcomes individuals with outgoing personalities. These positions involve lots of fun and direct interaction with our guests, providing them with an entertaining experience while allowing them the chance to win a prize. Experience some of the newest technology in fun! Cash handling experience a plus.

Gift Shops

The souvenirs that guests take with them provide lasting memories of their visit. Team members who work in our gift shops will help our guests select the right gift for themselves or for others, while enhancing their customer service, communication, and sales skills.

Guest Services

This is a very important function at Magic Springs. Individuals who love to interact with people and help solve problems would do well in this department, which also encompasses ticket taking, ticket selling, season pass processing, and tube and locker rentals. Computer experience a plus.

Horticulture

Magic Springs is well known for its beautiful grounds. Team members in the horticulture department are responsible for upholding this reputation by working with the planting crew, mowing crew, and greenhouse crew.

Park Services

These highly visible team members are responsible for maintaining superior standards of cleanliness throughout the park. Midway sweepers, restroom attendants, and trash movers are greatly appreciated by other team members and by our guests, whose experience at Magic Springs is made more enjoyable by the clean surroundings.

Parking Lot

Our Parking Lot department maintains the flow of traffic as guests enter and exit the facility and ensures that the parking lot is utilized efficiently. Team members in this department will use "people" skills as they help guests find that perfect parking space.

Ride Operations

Operating a ride that thousands of guests visit daily is a responsibility that requires motivated individuals who take safety seriously and enjoy helping others have a good time. Team members in the Ride Operations department must be at least 16 years old.

Security

Our Security department maintains the family atmosphere of the park by assisting in crowd control, flow in and out of the parking lot, and security of guests and team members as well as their property. Team members in the Security department must be at least 18 years old.

Warehouse

These team members really deliver. The warehouse is responsible for loading, unloading, delivering, storing, and maintaining inventory on the thousands of items that the park needs to operate successfully every day.

Water Safety

Our lifeguards are the best in the country!  Trained with Ellis & Associates National Pool and Water Park Lifeguard Training Program, they work outside in our Crystal Falls water park.  Lifeguards keep our guests safe at the wave pool, slides, adventure river, children’s pool, and family activity pool.  Team members in the Water Safety department must be at least 16 years old.

Internships

Magic Springs will coordinate with your school to offer paid internships that can allow students to earn college credit. Students can gain knowledge, experience, and a competitive edge in the job marketplace by working as college interns. Fund Raising: Earn Money for your Charity or Civic Group

The Booster Program provides an opportunity for members of non-profit organizations to raise money for their groups - and to do so while working in a fun environment! Booster groups staff special events, catered outings, and school activities at Magic Springs & Crystal Falls throughout the year.
